The diS(PlACE)ment project is a full production of physical performance sourced in the spectrum of movement techniques taught at the NYU/Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Drama.  Six choreographers from the Drama faculty contributed short, original work and collaborated to unite these pieces into a dynamic installation of physical theater.  Audiences also have an opportunity to observe or participate in workshops in movement training as well as a round-table discussion about the process of turning physical technique into performance.  Workshops will be led by the faculty-choreographers of the displacement project and the round-table will be moderated by the production's dramaturge.
